- Claude Desktop: supported on macOS and Windows. Chats also need the Recallium plugin. See Configure Recallium for chat apps.
- Codex CLI / Codex Work: one entry in the installer covers both.
- Continue.dev: setup is manual. The installer shows the connection settings, and you add them to Continue.dev yourself.

Check what the installer finds
To see which clients the installer finds on your computer, run:What the installer adds
For each client you select, the installer adds what that client supports: the MCP connection, Recallium guidance, and hooks. It shows what it will change before it writes anything. Some clients ask you to authenticate the MCP server before first use. See Configure IDEs. To confirm that your clients are connected, run:Your client is not listed
