The installer adds the Recallium MCP server to each client you select. Some clients also ask you to authenticate the server before your agent can use it. Authentication opens your browser, where you sign in to Recallium Cloud and approve access. In every client, the MCP server is named recallium.
Run the installer first. See the Quickstart.

Claude Code

Open the MCP server list

Start Claude Code and run:

Authenticate recallium

Select recallium, then select Authenticate. Complete the sign-in in your browser.

Codex

The installer authenticates Codex when it adds the MCP server. Your browser opens during setup, and you sign in there. If the sign-in did not finish, run this command in your terminal:
To confirm that the server is connected, run codex mcp list.

GitHub Copilot

The installer adds Recallium to GitHub Copilot CLI. When Copilot CLI starts and finds a server that needs authentication, it opens your browser so you can sign in. To check the server, run this command in Copilot CLI:
The command shows the server status and the tools it provides.

Open the MCP server list

Open the Command Palette with Cmd+Shift+P on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows and Linux. Run MCP: List Servers.

Start recallium

Select recallium, then select Start Server. If VS Code asks whether you trust the server, confirm it.

Sign in

When VS Code asks to authenticate the server, select Allow. Complete the sign-in in your browser.
You can also run MCP: Open User Configuration and select Auth above the recallium entry. Use this to sign in again later.

Open the MCP settings

Open Cursor Settings from Settings on Windows and Linux or Preferences on macOS. Select Customize, then MCP.

Authenticate recallium

Find recallium in the list and select the option to authenticate. Complete the sign-in in your browser.

Confirm the connection

After you authenticate, run:
