# Prompt cheat sheet

> Copy-ready prompts for loading context, saving work, and finding it again

You use Recallium by talking to your coding agent in plain language. This page collects the prompts that cover most daily use.

<Note>
  New to Recallium? Start with the [quickstart](/quickstart). If something is not working, see [Troubleshooting](/guides/troubleshooting).
</Note>

## Everyday prompts

| You want to | Say this |
| - | - |
| Reload project context | `recallium` |
| Save a decision | Remember we chose Postgres over DynamoDB because the ledger needs strong consistency. |
| Find past work | Search our memories for the authentication flow. |
| Search uploaded documents | Search my documents for the API spec. |
| Resume work | Where did we leave off? |
| Find recurring problems | What bugs keep recurring? |
| Think through a choice | Help me think through a gradual migration versus a full rewrite. |
| Track a follow-up | Create a task to migrate the remaining endpoints. |
| Wrap up the day | Summarize what we did today and save it. |

Your agent loads project context on its own when a session starts. Send `recallium` by itself when you want to load it again.

Document search covers the files you upload in **Document Library** in the Recallium dashboard.

## Build the habit

Recallium becomes more useful as your project history grows. These five moments cover most of it.

| When | Say this | Why |
| - | - | - |
| You start a session | Summarize the recent work, open follow-ups, and rules I should know. | Puts the loaded context in front of you before any edit |
| You finish a piece of work | Save what we just did, including the decision and the files we changed. | Captures the reasoning while it is fresh |
| You stop for the day | Summarize what we accomplished and save a continuation point. | Gives the next session a clear place to start |
| You return after a break | Where did we leave off? | Restores what changed, what is open, and the next step |
| You are about to edit a file | What should I know before editing `src/auth/jwt.ts`? | Surfaces earlier decisions, fixes, and warnings |
